  • almost went blind from using a computer!

The other day while I was using the computer, my vision blurred and I couldn’t see properly. I was really afraid. So, I decide to research what had happened to me. After endless questions and research, I came to a conclusion that I had Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS). I found out that it was a temporary condition that only occurred when from focusing your eyes on the computer screen for a prolonged period of time. Symptoms include headaches, blurred vision, neck pain, eyestrain, dry, irritated eyes, and difficult refocusing the eyes.
There are many quick and easy solutions to CVS. Using artificial tear solutions can reduce the effects of CVS. Looking out the window at a far-off object can help refocus your eyes. There is something called the “20-20-20 rule” this means to focus your eyes every 20 minutes on an object 20 feet away for 20 seconds.

Did this ever happen to you? Do you have any solutions of your own to this problem?
